This garden feels so much larger now that it has two useable levels – we designed the layout to provide a smart terrace and lawn on the upper level, with additional dining/lounging/firepit on the lower level.
Planting the bank between the two levels with a range of perennials has really softened all of the hard landscaping, immediately attracting butterflies, bees and birds to this lovely space.
In time the fencing will be softened by evergreen climbers and the multi-stem trees bring some height and privacy.
