Kent Hatch Road – Crockham Hill

This garden at the top end of Crockham Hill had been terraced years ago, but the large bank was now dominated by overgrown shrubs, and it looked tired and messy. We cleared the bank and designed a more contemporary planting scheme – this garden is all about the amazing views but with that comes full sun, good drainage, and strong winds, so appropriate plant selection (and irrigation) was key.
The planting has settled in beautifully and the swathes of perennials and grasses bring year round colour, height and movement.
